Lancashire seamer Richard Gleeson called up to England’s T20I squad

England have handed a maiden T20I call-up to Lancashire seamer Richard Gleeson for the three-match series against India, starting July 7. The 34-year-old is currently the second-highest wicket-taker in the ongoing T20 Blast 2022 with 20 scalps in 12 games at an average of 16.10.

Former Test skipper Joe Root returns to the ODI fold after a gap of an year, having last donned the blue against Sri Lanka last July.
