James Anderson draws the edge of Shubman Gill on 17

Shubman Gill looked good for his 17 but James Anderson has drawn first blood for England in the fifth Test at Edgbaston, drawing an edge off a good length ball. Gill had, quite typically, played his shots, driving and pulling Stuart Broad with aplomb before Anderson got one to nibble away as Zac Crawley made no mistake at second slip. Gill would not be pleased with that waft as you need to play closer to the body in English conditions where the ball does move around appreciably. India are 27/1 in 6.2 overs after being put in by the hosts.
