Wagner at the receiving end as Root brings out the reverse sweep again

Joe Root has been in superb nick from the last year or so and he seems to have added an extra gear to his Test batting. One of his shots in the second innings of the third Test was remarkable. Neil Wagner was bowling the 22nd over of the innings and he sent down the last delivery of the over outside off. Joe Root premeditated the wide line, got himself into the required position early and played a magnificent reverse scoop. The ball went for a six over third man. The England lynchpin had done the same to Tim Southee recently. England are chasing 296 in the second innings and finished the fourth day on 183/2.
