New Zealand lure Zac Crawly into a tame drive

They say it’s not over til it’s over but you have to say it’s really tough for New Zealand to bounce back from this assault in the dying throes of the fourth day. Joe Root and Ollie Pope have pretty much killed this chase with their century stand. They added 132 off just 163 balls to bring the equation down. England now need 113 on the final day and they have 8 wickets in hand to get the job done.

Earlier, Zac Crawley was entering into a glorious phase where the boundaries were flying off his bat but the opener walked right into the trap set by Kane Williamson. He saw a nicely tossed up delivery outside off and wanted to smash it through covers but ended up hitting it to Williamson. The visitors had left the gap in the off-side percisely for that sort of a greedy chip.
