Jack Leach’s second five-wicket haul of the game left England with a traget of 296 to win the third Test against New Zealand at Headingley and complete a 3-0 series sweep. Another century stand between Daryl Mitchell and Tom Blundell, their fourth on the assignment, skewed tthings in favour of the tourists briefly in the afternoon but England staged an excellent comeback to give themselves a chance. They struck at regular intervals with left-arm spinner Leach cleaning up the tail to finish with 10 wickets in the Test match.
