New Zealand head into Lunch at an abysmal 65/3

England enjoyed an excellent session on a bright and sunny morning at Headingley in Leeds as they managed to snuff out the New Zealand top order before lunch. The visitors, hoping to win one to end the tour on a high, opted to bat first after winning the toss. With conditions conducive to batting, New Zealand were expected to vindicate their captain’s decision, only to end up losing three wickets. Kane Williamson’s scalp just minutes before the lunch break has certainly handed England the early advantage.

Brief scores: New Zealand 65/3 (Kane Williamson 31; Stuart Broad 2/20) vs England
