David Warner, the well-set batter who was the chasing Australian side’s backbone, has been sent packing by Dhananjaya de Silva. It was the perfect off break, not full enough for the drive but enough to tempt Warner into the shot, that spun with bounce to beat the edge and forced Warner to drag his back foot outside the crease. Dickwella was quick to react and didn’t waste any time to whip the bails off. Just a momentary lapse of concentration has cost Warner his wicket on 99. Nonetheless, it was one of his finest ODI Knocks but he’s fallen at the wrong time for the visitors.
