Scott Edwards’ batting a bright positive for the Dutch

Scott Edwards, the stand-in captain, led by example with a fine 78 as Netherlands posted a total of 235/7 in the second ODI against England at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen. Edwards hit four fours and three sixes and was established half-century stands with Bas de Leede and Teja Nidamanuru in a match reduced to 41 overs per side. Netherlands will draw a lot of heart from his performances even though they have, along expected lines, slipped to a series defeat after England clinched the second ODI with 6 wickets.
