(Video) Kuhnemann strikes with his 17th ball in international cricket

With Marcus Stoinis added to Australia’s list of injuries in Sri Lanka and Ashton Agar’s participation in doubt, the door fortuitusly opened up for Queensland spinner Matthew Kuhnemann and he was flown to Palekelle to make his first international appearance. The 25-year-old left-arm orthodox tweaker has a decent record in domestic One Day cricket, and has performed well on Australia A’s tour of Sri Lanka, most notably returning 3/43. Kuhnemann’s victims were all high-profile Sri Lankan internationals as he decieved Oshada Fernando, Niroshan Dickwella and Dhananjaya de Silva. Today, he managed to bamboozle Pathum Nissanka fairly early on debut.
