Alex Lees got a bit ambitious as he tried to drive a Matt Henry delivery away from the body but ended up edging it to Daryl Mitchell at slip. He departed for 67, leaving England at 147/2. A flurry of boundaries from Lees as he brings up his maiden fifty. England have made good progress in the first hour but the twofold strike has pegged the hosts back. They had lost Zak Crawley early but a brisk half-centuries from Ollie Pope with Alex Lees helped them go into Stumps yesterday at 90/1, with the second wicket pair also profiting from missed chances.
