Shai Hope kept Pakistan’s vaunted bowling attack at bay to lift the West Indies to a solid 305-8 in the first day-night international at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. The elegant opener knocked a 134-ball 127 for his 12th one-day international century after West Indies won the toss and opted to bat on a flat deck. Hope, who cracked 15 boundaries and a six, added 154 alongside Shamarh Brooks as West Indies posted a formidable total on the board. His innings, as always, was replete with mesmerizing strokes that seemed to have come straight out of the coaching manual.
