Veteran India batter Mithali Raj has drawn curtains on her international career that spanned two decades. She made the announcement through a statement on social media. Having debuted India in 1999 as a 16-year old, Mithali grew in stature to become one of the all-time greats. She represented India in 12 Tests, 232 ODIs and 89 T20Is in all, 195 of them as skipper. She also marshalled her troops to the finals of two World Cups. In ODIs, after smashing a hundred on debut in 1999, she concluded as the highest run-scorer, a tally of 7805 runs with seven hundreds and 64 half-centuries in all.
