A clip of a young boy imitating Kane Williamson’s shots has been making the rounds on social media. In the video, the kid can be seen holding a small cricket bat and mimicing the strokes as he is standing behind Williamson who was practising his shots in the nets at Lord’s, the spiritual home of cricket. The boy can be seen replicating the same shots which were played by Williamson in nets. His dream to meet his hero and have a conversation with him came true later in the day, evident in the viral video posted by the Lord’s official Twitter handle.
