(Video) Daryl Mitchell attains the magical three-figure mark

Daryl Mitchell, coming into the side in place of Henry Nicholls, displayed excellent composure to bail the Kiwis out of hot water alongside Tom Blundell. The wicketkeeper-batsman appeared busy at the crease and together they managed to stretch that lead beyond the 200-run mark. They were both batting in the nervous nineties and Mitchell wasted little time to notch up the landmark after rain delayed the start on Day 3, also known as the moving day in cricketing parlance. It is the second Test hundred for Mitchell and what a vital contribution itโ€™s been from the sturdily-built batter.
