Former New Zealand cricketer Craig McMillan rang the bell before the commencement of the second day of the first Test between England and New Zealand at Lord’s in London. England went on to have a day of two halves as they picked three wickets before Lunch and one after it, but Tom Blundell and Daryl Mitchell stitched a mammoth partnership to bail the visitors. Mitchell drove the final ball of the day down the ground for a boundary and remains unbeaten on 97 and Blundell will resume on a personal score of 90 tomorrow. It has been a terrific partnership and New Zealand are sitting pretty with a 200+ lead.
