England trained at Lord’s for the first time under new coach Brendon McCullum’s watch ahead of Thursday’s opening Test against New Zealand. McCullum addressed the Ben Stokes-led side in the home dressing room on Monday morning for the first time.
McCullum was appointed for the role earlier this month, with Matthew Mott entrusted with the white-ball squads by the new Managing Director Rob Key. McCullum is being complemented in this series by a familiar coaching staff in Paul Collingwood, Jon Lewis, James Foster, Marcus Trescothick and Jeetan Patel.
