Velocity haven’t been able to get going in the 166-run chase against Supernovas at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. They have lost eight wickets with the scoreboard reading 118 after 17 overs. Laura Wolvaardt is fighting it out in the middle but she is running out of partners. The game now seems to be within Supernovas’ grasp unless and until Wolvaardt produces a dramatic single-handed finish. Alana King has been the pick of the wickets, bagging three to break the back of Velocity’s chase.
