Supernovas managed 165/7 after brilliant knocks from Deandra Dottin and Harmanpreet Kaur in the Women’s T20 Challenge grand finale against Velocity. Dotting top-scored with a 62-ball 44 while Harmanpreet smashed 43 off 29 deliveries. No other batter other than the top three could score in double digits. For Velocity, Kate Cross (2/29), Deepti Sharma (2/20) and Simran Bahadur (2/30) restricted the run flow after the solid alliance between Kaur and Dottin.
Earlier, Velocity skipper Deepti Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl against the Supernovas. She confirmed that the side is going unchanged. Harmanpreet made a couple of changes to her troops in the all-important summit clash.
