Soutrh African stalwarts Marizanne Kapp and Lizelle Lee will miss the forthcoming tour of Ireland, South Africa’s first assignment post their run to the World Cup semifinals earlier this year. Kapp, Lee and keeper-bat Sinalo Jafta are recovering from a respiratory illness. Masabata Klaas (shoulder injury) and Dane van Niekerk (ankle injury) are the other notable absentees from the 15-member squad.
The tour will begin on June 3 with the three T20Is. The three-match ODI series will commence on June 11.
