Record-breaking Mushfiqur Rahim (85*) and Liton Das (88*) helped Bangladesh take charge of the proceedings in a slow-moving morning session after overnight rain delayed the start on Day 4 in Chattogram. There was hardly any assistance from the pitch and neither did the Sri Lankan bowlers pose any problems. The pair put Bangladesh on the verge of first-innings parity picking up right from where they’d left off. Liton began the day with a delectable cover-drive to bring up the hundred of the partnership while Mushfiqur took the team past the 350-mark.
