It’s the Western Derby today at Wankhede. Rajasthan Royals, despite losing two in a row, are still well placed to qualify. But their overdependence on Jos Buttler has clearly been exposed. Their team combination isn’t optimized either. Apart from R Ashwin, none of their other four bowlers bat, and thus they seem limited in both departments. There is a fair amount of grass on the surface and so the ball should slide on. It could be a bit two-paced as well as the other end is a bit dry and the spinners might be able to extract a bit of purchase. All in all, we’re hoping for a high-scoring contest.
