Batter Tazmin Brits and 21-year-old left-arm spinner Nonkululeko Mlaba have been awarded Cricket South Africa central contracts for the 2022-23 season. The duo replace the just-retired Mignon du Preez and Nadine de Klerk in the 15-member list of contracted Proteas Women cricketers from last year. Having made it to the semifinals of the World Cup this year, South Africa will head to Ireland and England this summer where they will play six ODIs, six T20Is and a one-off Test against England in Taunton.
