(Photo) Mosaddek included in Bangladesh squad for first Test against SL to bolster batting depth

Mosaddek Hossain Saikat has been slotted into the Bangladesh squad for the series-opening Test against Sri Lanka, which starts on May 15. Earlier Nayeem Hasan made the cut in place of the injured Mehedy Hasan but the move to include Mossadek, who is not a regular in red-ball cricket, was done in order to bolster the batting depth. The 26-year-old Mossadek, who has just three Tests under his belt, last played a Test against Afghanistan in September 2019 in Chattogram.
