Veteran batter Ambati Rayudu put on a splendid exhibition of range-hitting to give PBKS more than a scare in their IPL 2022 clash against Chennai Super Kings. When he walked out to the middle to join Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK were in deep trouble at 40/3, with Robin Uthappa, Shivam Dube and Mitchell Santner back in the hut. He smacked Rahul Chahar with aplomb through the covers and went on to take advantage of a couple of loose deliveries from Rishi Dhawan to collect a four and a six. Rayudu, dismissed for 78, couldn’t take CSK home as they suffered their sixth loss of the season.
