Kent vs Hampshire
Kyle Abbott starred with a five-wicket haul as Hampshire completed a facile win over Kent in Canterbury. Abbott, who snared a couple of wickets on Day 3, produced another superb bowling display to give his side an innings victory.
Warwickshire vs Essex
Essex’s hardnosed fight came to an end on the final day as Warwickshire recorded a dominant 10-wicket win. Essex needed a herculean effort with the ball to entertain chances of winning but Alex Davies hit a fifty and Dominic Sibley worked his way to an unbeaten 41 as the pair got the job done inside 38 overs.
Surrey vs Somerset
An exuberant ton from Ryan Patel handed Surrey a three-wicket win over Somerset on the final day. While the likes of Rory Burns, Hashim Amla and Ollie Pope couldn’t settle down, Ryan Patel kept scoring at a fair clip to maintain the pressure on the opposition.
