Delhi Capitals’ dugout did not have their head coach Ricky Ponting for yesterday’s game against Rajasthan Royals, but assistant coach Shane Watson expressed his displeasure over the ugly incident that transpired in the final over. The bone of contention was a full toss bowled by Obed McCoy that wasn’t called a no-ball for height. The Delhi Capitals seemed adamant that the ball was above the waist and that the umpires refer the onfield verdict to the third umpire.
The umpire’s decision whether it’s right or wrong, we have to accept it. And someone running on the field is…we can’t accept and well it’s not good enough,” said Watson.
