Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali bagged a rich six-wicket haul for Lancashire as they bowled Gloucestershire out for 252 at Old Trafford. Marcus Harris, Chris Dent and Ryan Higgins all composed half-centuries for the visitors but none of them could kick on to attain a more substantial score. Lancashire were 11 for 1 at the close with George Balderson the man dismissed.
Meanwhile, in the match against Surrey, Somerset captain Tom Abell made an unbeaten century for the visitors as they reached the close at the Oval on 283 for 6 having decided to bat first.
