In what was yet another pulsating CSK-MI thriller, MS Dhoni kept his cool like he always does to secure a late, final-over win to extend Mumbai Indians’ winless streak in IPL 2022 to seven games. Dhoni finished with a well-paced unbeaten 28 off 13 balls, 16 off which were ticked off the last four balls of the chase to sink Mumbai’s hopes of opening their account. CSK go up next against the hot-and-cold Punjab Kings on Monday at the Wankhede stadium while MI’s hunt for the elusive first win takes them to the Wankhede too as they face LSG on Sunday.
17 needed off the final over and Thala MS Dhoni provides a vintage treat.
