Karthik, 36, who began his journey in international cricket way back in 2004, has been in sizzling form in the ongoing IPL-15, playing the role of a finisher to perfection or his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore, who snapped him for Rs 5.5 crore in the mega auction. Karthik could be a shoo-in for the South Africa T20Is if he continues to do well in the cash-rich league.
