Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant has had a tough time in the Indian Premier League 2022 so far. On Thursday night, his team failed to put a competitive total on the board and suffered a second consecutive defeat in the tournament, against Lucknow Super Giants, at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. Later, Pant was fined INR 12 lakh for DC’s inability to maintain the over-rate during the game. In an official release, it was stated that the DC captain has been slapped with the minimum penalty since it was the team’s first offence related to slow over-rate.
