The Bangladesh pacers bowled all over the place and erred in lines and lengths as South African skipper Dean Elgar raced to a well-made fifty. Mehidy Hasan too was inconsistent, with only Taijul Islam able to put some pressure on the Proteas batsmen who were able to find the boundaries at regular intervals. All the bowlers conceded over 4 an over, save for Taijul, who conceded just 9 runs in his 5 overs. Elgar eventually was dismissed by Taijul for 70.
