Rajasthan Royals’ pace bowling all-rounder Nathan Coulter-Nile has returned to Australia, where he will undergo rehabilitation after suffering a side strain during the team’s campaign opener in IPL 2022, against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29. Coulter-Nile sustained the injury during the final over of Sunrisers’ innings when he pulled up in his follow-through. He didn’t bowl anymore and had to walk off the field. He sat out the Royals’ following games. Coulter-Nile has a history of serious injuries, and has been forced to leave the IPL midway before as well.
