New Zealand coach Gary Stead has stated that Kane Williamson is on track to be fit for the upcoming three Test matches in England and is extremely keen to play cricket for New Zealand again.
Williamson, who’s currently leading Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, missed the entire home summer due to an elbow injury. He was unavailable for all the four Tests against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home. Stead emphasized that he expects Williamson to return as the skipper of the side, which has been marshalled by Tom Latham over the course of the home season.
