(Video) I don’t remember another tournament like it: Nat Sciver

England wouldn’t have expected being in pursuit of an almighty 357 when they opted to bowl at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch in the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. It was a venue that Australia weren’t well versed with, while England had the experience of two games coming into the title clash. They would’ve hoped to utilize the familiarity of the conditions to their advantage, but Alyssa Healy’s 170 enabled Australia to a gargantuan total. Nat Sciver though kept England in the hunt until the very end with an unbeaten 148, but it wasn’t to be as they went down by 71 runs.
