In what was a roller-coaster of a game, the two brand new IPL teams went toe to toe until Gujarat Titans got over the line, by a whisker. Rahul Tewatia, with an enterprising 40*, was the key to Gujarat’s success. His calmness at the crease helped Gujarat score 70 runs in the last five overs and complete a stunning victory. While David Miller fell after a 60-run stand with the southpaw, in the 18th over, Tewatia found an able ally in Abhinav Manohar, who smacked three crucial boundaries in his seven-ball stay before Tewatia hit the winning runs.
