Kolkata Knight Riders made a cracking start to their IPL 2022 campaign as Umesh Yadav had the prolific Ruturaj Gaikwad nicking off to first slip. The speedster has played just two matches in the last two seasons but he was right on the money on return, bowling full and swinging the ball to elicit the edge. The onus is now on Robin Uthappa and the overseas signing, Devon Conway, to take charge of the CSK innings. They wonβt have much trouble stabilizing the ship as the pitch seems to be a belter.
