Jadeja, who has been a vital cog in the wheel for the franchise since 2012, has been appointed the new captain by MS Dhoni, who was the most expensive buy at the inaugural IPL auction held in February 2008 and has been the skipper in all the editions the team participated. Under Dhoni’s tactically sound leadership, CSK has registered a mighty impressive 121 wins in 204 matches in the IPL.
