(Video) More than 25% capacity crowds likely to be allowed at IPL 2022

The Indian Premier League in Maharashtra is likely to host more than just 25 per cent capacity crowds at the venues in the upcoming edition. Although the initial permission from the state government was granted only for one-fourth of the stadium size, the Board of Control for Cricket in India is confident more spectators will be allowed as the league goes on. With fans flocking at the venues, the BCCI is understandably excited. It has expressed pleasure over the decent crowd turnout in the recent international games in Kolkata, Dharamsala, Mohali and Bengaluru against West Indies and Sri Lanka.
