The start of day four of the Barbados Test has been delayed due to rain and only 13 wickets have fallen across the last three days. Unless there’s a drastic improvement in that wickets column, this game – alike the first Test – seem to be heading towards a stalemate. Mark Boucher in his pitch report ahead of day’s play said: There’s plenty of rough but it is a long way outside off-stump for the right-handers, but most of it is around the bowler’s landing area. If batters are absolutely intent on staying in and not taking risks, it’s going to be hard work for the bowlers.
