Chris Woakes, Craig Overton and Mark Wood couldn’t hang around for long on the second day of the first Test between England and West Indies, although centurion Jonny Bairstow is building on his innings from the other end. He can bank upon Jack Leach to dig in, with the tail-ender having decent batting credentials to his name. Bairstow is currently batting on 139 and would look to score as many runs as possible as England eye a strong first-innings total. Yesterday, he rescued them from a precarious position with his second consecutive ton.
