Ravichandran Ashwin scripted history in the first Test between India vs Sri Lanka in Mohali as he broke the legendary Kapil Dev's record of 434 Test wickets. Ashwin revealed that the World Cup-winning captain sent a handwritten note and bouquet to congratulate him on the feat. Ashwin is now India's second-highest wicket-taker in Tests with 436 scalps. India's highest wicket-taker in Tests is Anil Kumble who has 619 wickets and is placed fourth in the list behind Muralitharan, Warne, and Anderson.
