(Video) Jonassen exhibits quicksilver reflexes to grab one-handed stunner

In the third game of the ongoing Women’s World Cup 2022, Australia beat New Zealand by 12 runs. However, the match went right down to the wire as Jess Jonassen pulled off a breathtaking catch to dismiss the England all-rounder Katherine Brunt in the final over. Brunt toe-ended a drive towards the bowler and Jonassen stuck her left hand out and it somehow stuck, leaving the bowler in awe of her own efforts. The shot wasn’t middled to perfection but the ball was travelling nonetheless, which makes the return catch special.
