Bangladesh have persistently failed to tee off in the powerplay in T20 cricket and their bugbear was exposed again during their last assignment at home against Pakistan when the hosts huffed and puffed to scores of 25-3, 36-2 and 33-1 respectively in the three games. They have included Munim Shahriar in the T20 squad to address that shortcoming as he has a knack of scoring freely during the powerplay phase. Mahmudullah added that they are looking to play with a positive attitude in this format and maintain that tempo in a World Cup year.
