Kagiso Rabada put on a magnificent all-round show while Kyle Verreynne composed his maiden Test hundred as South Africa reinforced their grip on the Hagley Oval Test. The hosts were struggling at 94/4, still needing 332 for an improbable win at the draw of stumps on the penultimate day. Rabada had earlier taken a heavy toll off Tim Southee and finished with a rollicking 34-ball 47. When he holed out to the fielder stationed at long-on, the damage had already been done, with South Africa ahead by a beefy 350 runs.
