On two consecutive evenings, Sri Lanka lost wickets in a heap to find themselves in a spot of bother before Dasun Shanaka rescued them with a well-paced finishing knock. The Sri Lankan skipper backed up his 19-ball 47 from the other day with an equally belligerent 38-ball 74 in the third T20I at Dharamsala, propping the visitors to a respectable score of 146/5 after they were down in the dumps at the halfway stage. Avesh Khan was the pick of the bowlers for India, picking two wickets for 23 runs.
