Avesh Khan might have had a forgettable outing in his ODI debut against West Indies, but the express quick made amends on his T20I debut by jolting the Sri Lankan top-order early in the third and final T20I at Dharamsala. He got Pathum Nissanka caught at mid-off to get his first international wicket after Mohammad Siraj had Danushka Gunathilaka chopping on for nought. Some extra bounce then brought upon the undoing of Charith Asalanka as Sanju Samson, the stand-in keeper, pouched the skier safely.
