Shane Watson is set to join Delhi Capitals as the assistant coach for the Indian Premier League’s 2022 season. The former Australian all-rounder is one of the giants of the league, having scored 3874 runs and taken 92 wickets in the competition. Watson last played for Chennai Super Kings before retiring from professional cricket after the 2020 edition and has been an active commentator since then. Besides Watson, former Indian pacer Ajit Agarkar has also been roped in by the franchise as another assistant coach.
