Deepak Chahar has been sidelined from the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka. The 29-year-old bowling allrounder suffered a hamstring injury while in his bowling stride during the final T20I against West Indies in Kolkata. After dismissing the West Indies openers cheaply in the run chase, Chahar limped off the field clutching his hamstring without completing his second over. India will play the first of the three T20Is against Sri Lanka on February 24. The next two T20Is will be played in Dharamsala on February 26 and 27.
