Sunrisers Hyderabad have confirmed that assistant coach Simon Katich is leaving the franchise. The Hyderabad franchise stated that the former Australian batter made himself unavailable because of bio-security restrictions and family issues. The franchise denied having any differences with Katich over pre-auction and pre-IPL strategizing and said they have a replacement, who also is believed to be an Australian as per Cricbuzz, ready. Katich, who was appointed as SRH assistant coach two months ago, has previously been associated with Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
According to reports, Sunrisers Hyderabad assistant coach, Simon Katich, has stepped down as he disagreed with the way the team was managed and also felt that the pre-auction plans were not followed during the two-day event.#IPL2022 #IPLAuction #SunrisersHyderabad pic.twitter.com/gEG7tmlEh9
