Yash Dhull, right after leading the Indian U19 side to World Cup glory, began his first-class career in grand style as he hit an enterprising ton against Tamil Nadu. Opening the batting, Dhull played positively despite Tamil Nadu reducing Delhi to 7/2 inside the first three overs. Jonty Sidhu made an industrious 71 whereas Lalit Yadav finished unbeaten on 45 as Delhi did well to reach 291/7 by stumps. Manish Pandey and Ajinkya Rahane also scored tons for Karnataka and Maharashtra respectively.
